6 Faux Favorites That Look Real & Will Elevate Your Outdoor Space With zero Maintenance

Patio season is almost here and I’m so excited! With direct sunlight hitting our house, it’s very hard to keep any greenery and florals alive. After years of having to replace plants and flowers mid-season due to the heat (& critters let’s be honest), I finally turned to faux outdoor plants, and I’m never going back!

The reason I love faux outdoor plants, trees, and flowers the most is that they don’t have any maintenance! I love that once I place them for the spring season they’re perfectly fine and require no extra watering, fertilizer, feed, etc. until I take them back inside for the fall/winter. Again, with a lot of direct sunlight, I was concerned that many of these styles would fade. My biggest tip here is to make sure you’re grabbing styles that are UV-Resistant as this will help with the coloring of these.

I love layering various styles by my front door as I would any other seasonal florals. I tend to keep two faux cedar topiaries on our front porch year round as I feel like they bring height and dimension, and it also fits the rural neighborhood we live in. I layer in other small plants, trees, and flowers such as camellias, hydrangeas, roses, and geraniums for a pop of color! The price up front might be a bit more, but in the long run, these styles have saved me so much money. I love that I can use them season after season, year after year.
