If I Had To Start From Scratch, This Is What I’m Grabbing First

Over the last few years my design style has evolved and elevated, which is completely normal. When we purchased our home in 2020, we were coming from a smaller condo in the city, so having more room and space to decorate was both exciting and a challenge for me.

I naturally gravitated towards a mix of investment pieces as well as save options—similar to my style now. However, there were a few spots where I tried out many styles before landing on the perfect piece. Style naturally evolves over time, but I can confidently say that if I had to start over right now from scratch there are a handful of furniture pieces I would hands down purchase again because they are timeless, functional, and beautiful.

These favorites are a mix of splurges and affordable finds, but overall I would recommend them many times over. My biggest tip for decorating your home—it takes time, be patient. I know the urgency of wanting to purchase and furnish a space all at once is exciting, but letting your mind and heart sit with a space and piece can save you money and buyer’s remorse.
