Why I Love Our Ruggable Rugs
I’ve recently added a few Ruggable rugs throughout our home and after having them for a few months, I couldn’t be happier.
A few years ago, our previous German Shepherd had quite the accident on a rug we had only had for a year. It was nearly impossible to clean up and we had to take it to get professionally cleaned (which cost a fortune). After all that, I STILL avoided that area of the rug…
Many of you have reached out to me saying you’ve recently purchased one or have been thinking about it. If you’re on the fence, I say GO FOR IT! Here’s why…
- They’re washable: this was truly a selling point for me. Don’t get me wrong – I love carpet in a room. I think it makes it warm, cozy, and it’s nice for the kids. HOWEVER – if you have kids and/or pets (or just ANYONE in general), I think carpet is actually disgusting. Same goes for rugs. I’m a little bit of a germaphobe when it comes to my home 😉 the covers come off and are machine washable. We have two 9’x12′ rugs in our home and they fit in our standard size washer/dryer. I’ve washed our runner and area rugs multiple times and they come out looking brand new.
- They’re interchangeable: if you’ve been following along for a while, you know how much I love rugs. Since Ruggable comes with a rug pad, you’re able to change out the “cover” whenever you want and can buy JUST the cover if you want to! This makes it perfect for switching up an entire or changing your theme from time to time. It’s also a lot LESS expensive than investing in an entire new rug. Plus, the covers fold right up so they’re easy to store.
- They’re spill/stain resistant: go ahead and spill something. No need to freak out. I simply block the excess and throw it in the wash! I have yet to stain a rug 🙂
- They’re non-slip: the rug pads lay nice and flat on the floor and are completely “grippy” on the bottom, erasing the need for rug stickers or extra no-slip rug pads that never work anyways!
- Safe for kids and pets: these rugs are safe for babies, kids and pets to play, lounge on, and whatever else they might do LOL 😉
