Quick & Easy Charcuterie Board for Under $35
Charcuterie boards are one of my favorite things to put together when we’re hosting. It’s actually one of my favorite things wherever we go 🙂 and the best part is that they don’t have to be super fancy or expensive!
I’ve made micro boards (for just me and my husband) and large boards that serve up to 15 people. This board was put together for under $35 and served 6 adults.
Trader Joe’s is one of my absolute favorite places to buy cheese. Not only do they have so many fun and unique cheeses, but their prices are unbeatable in my opinion. Each block of cheese featured above was under $4! They also have so many fun “board-building” goodies so you can really make it your own.
The bolded items are included on this board above!
Cheese:
- Unexpected Cheddar – this is one of my top two favorite cheeses ever.
- Truffle Pecorino – new, seasonal cheese. Does have a stronger flavor.
- Toscano Cheese with Black Pepper – the Toscano cheese is my second favorite cheese. So smooth.
- Syrah-Soaked Toscana – the Syrah soaked is usually my go-to but my TJ’s didn’t have it. Honestly all their Toscano cheeses are AMAZING.
- Goat-Milk Brie – for my larger boards, I incorporate a baked brie (usually honey/apple/nut depending on the season).
Meat:
- Calabrese Salame – this is the only meat I used on this board and that’s honestly because I thought I grabbed another package but didn’t LOL. This is a classic, mild salame.
- Prosciutto – so delicious. You can even bake it on a sheet pan for a bit in the oven for something completely different and bacon-like goodness.
- Peppered Salame – adds a little kick to your basic salame.
- Capocollo
- Soppressata Salame
Crackers:
- Cracker Assortment – found at Trader Joe’s; comes in a 4-pack of different types of crackers (original water, wheat, pepper & poppy seed, vegetable)
- Trader Joe’s Raisin Rosemary Crisps OR Fig & Olive Crisps- these crackers are packed with flavor and so yummy (love these with brie!)
- Trader Joe’s Everything But the Gluten Crackers – these grainy crackers compliment soft cheeses and are perfect for your gluten-free guests!
- Classic Breadsticks
Extras:
- Trader Joe’s Trio of Almonds – my FAVORITE mix! I’m so happy these are back this year. Caramel coffee, honey sesame, and roasted/salted. So so tasty!
- Dried Fruits – love dried oranges, apricots, figs, persimmons, tangerines
- Fresh Fruits – grapes, apple slices, pears
- Assortment of Nuts – cashews, almonds, macadamia
- Olives – love stuffed olives
- Sprigs of rosemary for color
- Dark Chocolate Chunks
