Decking the Halls For Christmas 2025

It’s officially December, and we couldn’t be more excited! Christmas is by far my favorite holiday. Between the gorgeous decorations, family memories, and cherishing the slower moments, there is a nostalgia in the air that I appreciate so much.

It took me a few days, but our home is finally ready for the holidays, especially our great room, and I couldn’t love it more! Our great room is the space we spend the most time in as a family, and it’s by far the coziest and warmest spot. I love all of the layers of holiday decor upon our everyday pieces and how magical it all feels.

Over the last few years, I have come to love a more simplistic holiday look. Don’t get me wrong, I still love all the seasonal greenery and fillers, soft textiles and throws, and festive objects; However, I have grown to love a look that is more understated. A few seasonal accents in addition to our existing pieces feels just as warm, intentional, and elevated.
