We added this beautiful iron black console table to our home a few years ago now, and it’s still to this day one of my favorite furniture pieces we have ever purchased. The iron material, pedestal legs, and length are perfect for both styling as a console table or behind a sofa. I love that it comes in two length options as well, making it perfect for any space.
It’s no secret that my love for organic, earthy, and warm pieces has carried over throughout my entire home. There’s something about this design style that makes everything feel warm and cozy. How to cohesively layer a console
My biggest tip when creating a space that feels earthy and organic, without losing touch of what makes a home cozy, is mixing in pieces with various textures.
On my console here you’ll see numerous forms of texture—an iron table, a wicker vase, a stoneware book stand, wood picture frames, and a ceramic lamp.
With each space, I love finalizing the design by adding greenery or textiles. These moody warm florals are perfect for adding a touch of color, and a whole lot of warmth!
My key tip when trying to style one part of your home, is to reflect on the surrounding pieces too—is there a balance of texture, textiles, greenery, and hard materials? If so, you’ve achieved a natural, organic, and earthy space.
