Holiday Dining Table Ideas
With the holidays coming up, my dining table is one of my favorite things to put together when we’re hosting. You don’t need to buy or have completely different pieces for Thanksgiving and Christmas either. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite table setting pieces that are sure to steal the show!
For my Thanksgiving, I chose earthy/fall tones and I wanted to keep it light. I have charcoal chargers, white plates with accent sage green salad plates. I think my favorite thing on the table are these “grateful” napkin rings. They’re so welcoming and affordable!
My next favorite thing are these faux leather silverware pouches. They add a classy touch instead of just having your silverware out on the table!
Changing up the tones of your silverware also adds an elegant element to your dining. I love a soft, muted gold/champagne or matte black.
To the center of the table, I have a table runner (option 1 and option 2 are similar to mine) with taper candles and an assortment of pumpkins. I use different sizes and different textures.
In the center, I love this classic vase. It’s so beautiful all year round with any assortment! And this huge fall stem is a gorgeous eye-catcher for sure.
When it comes to Christmas, I love having pops of classic reds. I used red napkin with picks to accent the napkin rings.
I love classic white place setting, but adding a colored salad or dessert plate is a great way to switch it up for the holidays!
I love adding fresh greenery in the center for a pine-y aroma (however I’m showing faux cypress garland). Once it gets closer to Christmas, I love to buy some green pine/spruce stems from Trader Joe’s to place on and around the table runner.
I have an assortment of wooden and ceramic Christmas trees and rustic bells to place along the runner as well. Add in some classic taper candles or candelabras and you’re set!
And I always LOVE to serve up after dinner coffee in a fun assortment of Christmas mugs. These fair isle coffee mugs come in a set of 4 and are so cute!
