Over the last year or so I have been very intentional about the things coming in and going out of my closet! I have come to the realization that when it comes to dressing myself, I tend to love the same things that I do when designing my home. Neutral colors, soft textiles, organic textures, and pieces that can be styled many different ways. I made it my mission over the last few months to start incorporating pieces into my wardrobe that fit well, make me feel good, and can truly be dressed up or down—a capsule closet.

When navigating a capsule wardrobe, it can be beyond tricky! I think it’s often assumed that when building a capsule wardrobe you invest in high-end pieces that you believe will carry you for years to come. Although that can be very true, I made it my mission to find pieces that are functional, effortless, and affordable. As women, getting dressed everyday can be hard.
