We recently added these stunning Vail dining chairs from Denver Modern to our dining room. After having our existing metal ones from Crate & Barrel for a few years, I was ready for a change and when I saw these I knew they were perfect. The collection has the option of either leather or boucle fabrics, and we went with the Wolf Leather. A beautiful robust black-powder-coated steel and a walnut dowel wood accent piece complement the leather fabric.
It’s no secret that my love for organic, earthy, and warm pieces has carried over throughout my entire home, and these dining chairs are the perfect addition! The true show stopper of these dining chairs is the back—the walnut dowel, leather straps, and raised leather overlay are so beautiful!
The Details
What I love most about these chairs, is how comfortable they are! They are sturdy, not too heavy, and completely elevate our entire dining room.
Oftentimes, there can be concerns around having leather upholstery, especially with little kids! Although a very valid concern, it wasn’t something I was overly worried with, as Denver Modern does a really great job of providing thorough care of all materials. The biggest take here is to keep these chairs out of direct sunlight, only use a dry cloth to clean up any spills, and use your finger to buff out any small scratches. Leather naturally adapts to any climate too. Overall, I love how earthy, organic, and lived-in these dining chairs are!
